Came across repeal377a.com a little earlier today.
It’s a movement to get the Government
of Singapore to repeal Section 377a of the Penal Code which states
377A : Any male person who, in public or private, commits, or abets the commission of, or procures or attempts to procure the commission by any male person of, any act of gross indecency with another male person, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years.
It’s certainly caused quite a bit of response though, last I checked there were 5791 signatures on the Open Letter to the Prime Minister asking for the Section to be repealed.
It’s quite a sad for Singapore to still maintain laws such as this when the rest of the world is moving forward and being more accepting to alternative cultures. However, many people still worry that such a decriminalisation will lead to the breakdown of the social fabric.
If such acts can be decriminalised for heterosexual couples, why should it remain in force for homosexuals? If the act is between two consenting adults in the privacy of their own room and does not affect anyone else, why should it matter what gender the people are? And yes, why does the section only make it criminal for men?

Get real… Homosexual sex is not healthy ( it has STD implications that often lead to the end of once a upon a time healthy male lives). It is not a culture that needs to be accepted because it stands on the same platform af unnatural relations such as incest, adultery, lesbianism, sex with animals etc……Endorsing such practices does not mean one is more forward or accepting. It means that one is willing to compromise on values that are obviously better such as the family unity, procreation lifestyle, people who can defend the country (homos are not required to do NS reservist) etc. It is not being modern - homosexuals have existed since the Roman times and even before. There is a reason why they are not dominant because history has shown that their lifestyle cannot be sustained. Stop supporting the repeal. Go to Keep277a.com and read more.

are you a pig? Do you seriously think heterosexual sex does not have STD implications? And what, homos does not have to do NS reservist? Are you sure you’re not crazy? Is it natural to get married? Do pigs enter in marriage contracts with each other like your good self? Is it natural to wear clothes? Why don’t you be a “naturalist aka nudist” since you are so obsessed with being so “natural”.
